Hero Guide: Tracer 1. Strengths
3. Strategy Tracer is an extremely mobile offense hero in Overwatch. Her signature abilities, Blink and Recall, allow Tracer to dash in and out of combat almost constantly. Along with Genji, Tracer is suited for flanking and ambushing the other team. Her extreme mobility allows her to get behind the enemy defenses, kill heroes with her Pulse Pistols, and get out again before anyone can react. She is great at killing Bastion, Symmetra's Teleporter, as well as enemy snipers. Aside from the bad range of her Pulse Pistols, Tracer also suffers from a very low 150 health. This low health, coupled with her tendency to be in the middle of the action makes able to die fast. As such, when playing Tracer, you will need to be careful, since against good players you are always just one wrong step away from being killed. This ambushing/flanking role is exactly how you should play Tracer, on any map, and regardless of whether you are attacking or defending. You do not have the survivability or damage output to fight from the front lines, so you must always look for ways to surprise your enemies, hit them hard, and get out before you are ever in danger. Indeed, even in close range, Tracer is extremely vulnerable, and practically any hero in the game can easily kill Tracer if she is not careful. Developing the instinct to get out at the first sign of trouble will be essential. Finally, Tracer's ultimate allows for her trademark Blink / Pulse Bomb / Recall combo that drops the damaging AoE Pulse Bomb in the middle of the enemy team, leaving them with little time to react. Remember to keep blinking when you are in battle. And get your health back with Recall. When you reach 75 health either recall or blink to a health pack. Keep close with her guns but not too close, remember to keep bouncing about using your blink and recall. Remember to get your health back using recall too! ~E.P. Hero Guide: Genji 1. Strengths
3. Strategy So the strategy for Genji is to flank.... and I mean a lot. Don't go head first against the enemy, I would recommend focusing on one target at a time. A tip I want to tell you about immediately is: if you see a bastion in a corner on turret mode, I would swift strike towards them and once they start shooting, deflect instantly because the bastion will die very quickly. Genji's ult isn't as strong as you'd (like) think; it's best used on lots of either weak enemies or generally low health heros in general. It's also very efficient if combined with other ults such as Zarya's, Reinhardt's, Zenyatta's, Mei's, Lúcio's and heck, even Ana's would work for that extra damage (Because let's be honest Genji's ult needs a slight damage buff). It's good to combine those ults because it's more likely to insure Genji's survival. Other combo's (without ult) include: Primary fire into swift strike to get behind a target then secondary fire and imediate melee. There are some things that are quite hard to pull off but can be very rewarding. Being able to deflect other ults can be awesome. Any ult that has some some sort of projectile can be used against the enemy team. Ults that can be deflected are (in no particular order): Bastion, Hanzo, Mcree, Mei, Pharah, Reaper, Roadhog, Soldier 76, Torbjorn, Tracer, Zarya and Ana. Now that's a lot but remember, you have to have amazing timing and for a lot of them you need to be very close but if you manage to pull it off well, it can be a game changer. Oh, and by the way, Genji yells "Ryujin no ken wo kurae!" when he ults. Which translates to "Take my dragonblade!" -Ben Hero Guide: Mei
